Amid the global push for clean energy, India’s renewable-energy giant Reliance Group has entered a strategic partnership with China’s leading solar encapsulation film equipment manufacturer GWELL. The agreement covers 20 EVA/POE/EPE solar encapsulation film production lines, with a combined capacity of 20 GW, reinforcing the two nations’ deep collaboration in the solar sector.

Under the cooperation blueprint, GWELL is supplying Reliance with 20 high-performance EVA/POE/EPE solar film production lines to meet India’s rapidly expanding photovoltaic market.
Four production lines have already been shipped and are arriving at Reliance’s facilities for installation and commissioning—marking a significant milestone toward full-scale implementation.

Seamless Coordination and Technical Support

To ensure smooth installation and reliable long-term operation, Reliance Group facilitated visa applications for GWELL engineers and technicians, enabling a growing on-site team of more than 10 GWELL engineers in India. These specialists are handling equipment installation, commissioning, operator training, and after-sales service, ensuring the lines reach peak production efficiency as quickly as possible.
